We grow every mushroom
in this bottle.
British Lion's Mane, fruiting body only, grown on our own farm and encapsulated in small batches.
One building, start to finish.
The mushrooms are grown, harvested, dried and encapsulated by us. We control everything on our own farm to ensure the highest grade and quality is within your capsules.
We're filming the whole process — unedited and unnarrated, so you can judge it for yourself. It will live here as soon as it's cut.
Six steps, one building.
Every stage happens on the farm. Nothing is sent out for processing and nothing arrives as powder.

01Inoculate
Sterilised substrate is inoculated with Lion's Mane spawn.
02Fruit
Blocks move to the fruiting room. Humidity and airflow held steady for roughly 2 weeks.
03Harvest
Picked by hand at full maturity. Fruiting bodies only — the substrate never goes into the bottle.
04Dry
We have a special way of drying our mushrooms to make sure your capsules are the highest quality. Then straight to the mill.
05Mill & fill
Milled to a fine powder and filled into vegan capsules. One ingredient in, one ingredient out.
06Bottle
Sealed, batch-numbered, sampled and sent to you.
Four questions worth asking any brand.
Lion's Mane is sold in very different forms at similar prices. Here's what separates them and our answer to each. Ask us anything we haven't covered.
Fruiting body, or mycelium on grain?
Lion's Mane is sold both ways. Where mycelium is grown on grain, the two are milled together and the grain ends up in the capsule.
Grown where, exactly?
"Made in the UK" can describe powder grown elsewhere and packed here. Where it grew and where it was packed are separate questions.
What else is in the capsule?
Flow agents, bulking agents and anti-caking agents are common, and rarely prominent on the label.
Who tests it, and how often?
Some brands test once and quote it for years. Growing conditions change batch to batch, so testing should too.
No surprises, and no small print.

We set yours aside
When a batch comes out of the fruiting room, subscriber bottles are put by before it goes on general sale.
It ships, free
Subscribers get their bottle shipped for free.
We can only make so much of it.
That's a growing cycle, not a policy. The fruiting rooms hold what they hold, and mushrooms take the time they take. We're building more capacity, but it comes online slowly and we will never buy in powder to fill a gap.
That is the whole reason a subscription exists here. Subscribers are set aside from each batch first — not as a perk, but because it's the only way we can promise you a bottle while we're this size.

“Finally a nutritional company that you can trust and know where it comes from. I find the capsules are working well and looking forward to see new products launched”
We're new, and we'd rather say so.
There aren't many reviews yet — Pure Pantry started in 2025. Rather than borrow credibility from somewhere else, we'd rather show you the fruiting rooms and let the mushroom make the case.

We email when a new batch is ready, when something new launches, and occasionally with what's happening on the farm. Two or three a month at most, and you can leave whenever you like.
